Kaleby Stevenson is the daughter of Seanna and Kirk Stevenson. Throughout high school she was involved in, “Volleyball, Softball, Track, FBLA, Pep-Club, Prom Committee, Journalism, Multimedia, working at Warsaw Municipal Pool, and having a bible study with my girls.” She plans to attend State Fair Community College then after her first two years, transfer to the University of Central Missouri. Her future plans are to travel the world with her friends and family then work towards becoming a nurse practitioner. What she’s looking forward to the most next year is meeting new people and getting out of her comfort zone. If she could go back to freshman year, “I wish I would’ve worked harder in class, but I wish I didn’t let little things I regret take over my life.” If she goes to her ten year reunion she hopes to have accomplished, “Finishing school and building my relationship with Christ with my husband, and having a stable place and a good start to my career.” What she’ll miss most is, “Leaving my best friend Karly Keele and little cousin Jett Fluty. Then also, not being able to get Cosmic every morning before school.” Teachers she’d like to thank would be, “I would like to thank Mrs. Siegel because she’s watched me grow up since I was a baby and she’s taught many life lessons that I will take to college. Also even though me and her always bicker, she knows that it’s not serious. I would also like to thank Mr. Daughenbaugh for always putting everything into his teaching and I would’ve probably never known the things I do now if I didn’t take his class. Then also the random life discussions we would have in his class I would take to college with me.” Her biggest achievement was, “Beating the school record in career assists in volleyball.” Her best memory is, “The special moments I’ve had with my closest friends either on the court or the little moments at a track meet.” To celebrate the end of this era in her life she’ll be, “Having a grad party with some friends and going to Florida for two weeks.” Advice she’d give to a younger student is, “To take as many college classes as you can, but don’t overwork yourself. Also, stay strong in your faith because some things may not make sense to you, but it’s all a part of God’s plan.” Something she’d like to add is, “These 4 years truly go by so fast, so get involved in as many things as you can and enjoy the time you have here with your closest friends.”

About the Contributor
Abbey Wilson, News Photography Editor
Senior Abbey Wilson is on her third year with the Wildcat news production. This year as a photography editor, she will be checking everyone’s stories to make sure they have their photos and captions as well as making sure photo assignments are set. She decided to stay on staff again because with it being her senior year, she wanted to keep going with writing and photography because she’s passionate about it. In her free time Wilson enjoys running, spending time with her family, traveling, working, watching “Gilmore Girls” and listening to music. What she loves the most is working towards her goals for the future and being a big sister to her four siblings. After high school, Wilson hopes to go to State fair Community College or Missouri State University to major in social work and minor in journalism.
