Vincenza Parsi is the daughter of Sabin and Michael Parsi. Throughout high school she was involved in, “FCCLA and prostart were my main activities. FCCLA has been an all throughout high school experience that taught me so many new things, and opened my eyes to so much more. Prostart with my buddies was always amazing, making so many new things and having fun. Well, we did it.” She plans to attend a cosmetology school in Sedalia or Warrensburg, she also desperately wants to be a teacher but wants to go for her cosmetology license first. If she could go back to freshman year, “I would focus on my education more, and do more with FCCLA and enjoy it.” If she goes to her ten year reunion she prays to have accomplished being a teacher with a family. What she’ll miss the most is, “I will miss sitting there laughing with my friends, being in prostart making food, fighting about who’s better and who gets what kitchen.” A teacher she’d like to thank would be, “Ms. Pate and Ms. Ward, they both helped me with so much without the years without even knowing becoming my reason to enjoy learning.” Her biggest achievement was placing second at FCCLA Star Events in a group with Amy Terry and Noah Siebert. Her best memory is, “Freshman year when Mr. Grishow would be joking around and try to start drama between me and Trinity.” She’ll be celebrating the end of this era in her life by hanging out with friends. Advice she’d give to a younger student is, “Don’t focus on the past, or you’ll miss the future.” Something she’d like to add is, “Have fun, be teenagers but be smart and prioritize school over people at school.”

About the Contributor
Abbey Wilson, News Photography Editor
Senior Abbey Wilson is on her third year with the Wildcat news production. This year as a photography editor, she will be checking everyone’s stories to make sure they have their photos and captions as well as making sure photo assignments are set. She decided to stay on staff again because with it being her senior year, she wanted to keep going with writing and photography because she’s passionate about it. In her free time Wilson enjoys running, spending time with her family, traveling, working, watching “Gilmore Girls” and listening to music. What she loves the most is working towards her goals for the future and being a big sister to her four siblings. After high school, Wilson hopes to go to State fair Community College or Missouri State University to major in social work and minor in journalism.
