Jayce Estes is the son of Lance Estes and Tamena Estes. Throughout high school he was involved in Wrestling, Freestyle/Greco wrestling. His future plans are to, “Go to college for wrestling and get a business major and a minor in kinesiology.” What he’s looking forward to the most next year is, “Starting a name for myself and start see the future me accomplish way more.” His best memory from high school was, “Getting to jump into my dads arms after I won a state title. Another good memory is winning a district team title.” If he could go back to freshman year, he would change his work ethic and he would’ve been less lazy. A coach he’d like to thank would be, “Mrs Griffin (Coach Aspen). Coach Aspen has helped me with all of the four years I attended high school and I would not have passed school if it wasn’t for her.” His biggest achievement was becoming a two time state champion in wrestling. To celebrate the end of this era in his life, “By spending time with the people who helped me get to this point.” If he goes to his ten year reunion he hopes to have accomplished, “The four years of college and become a business owner in either a wrestling academy or a heavy equipment operation.” His advice to a younger student is, “Don’t wish for school to be over. Time flies and if I had the choice I’d stay young forever.” Something he’d like to add is, “Thank you WHS I wouldn’t be here without you guys.”

Abbey Wilson, News Photography Editor
Senior Abbey Wilson is on her third year with the Wildcat news production. This year as a photography editor, she will be checking everyone’s stories to make sure they have their photos and captions as well as making sure photo assignments are set. She decided to stay on staff again because with it being her senior year, she wanted to keep going with writing and photography because she’s passionate about it. In her free time Wilson enjoys running, spending time with her family, traveling, working, watching “Gilmore Girls” and listening to music. What she loves the most is working towards her goals for the future and being a big sister to her four siblings. After high school, Wilson hopes to go to State fair Community College or Missouri State University to major in social work and minor in journalism.
