Georgia Mier is the daughter of Samuel and Amethyst Mier. Throughout high school she was involved in, “Art and Tabletop Gaming Club my first two years of High School. In my 10th grade year I took culinary I in which I cooked for events and went on field trips to learn more about the art of culinary. In senior year I played a lead role as one of the main villains of a play.” Her future plans are to become a book author. What she’s looking forward to the most next year is finishing her first book and getting a job. Her best memory from high school was taking a creative writing class. To celebrate the end of this era in her life she’ll be, “Spending time with my family and dancing with my dad.” If she could go back to her freshman year, she would’ve been less quiet. Her advice to a younger student is, “Good men learn from their mistakes, Great men learn from others.” Something she’d like to add is, “I just hope that younger students and generations know that God loves them and not run from life’s challenges because even in your darkest moment, there is hope.”

Abbey Wilson, News Photography Editor
Senior Abbey Wilson is on her third year with the Wildcat news production. This year as a photography editor, she will be checking everyone’s stories to make sure they have their photos and captions as well as making sure photo assignments are set. She decided to stay on staff again because with it being her senior year, she wanted to keep going with writing and photography because she’s passionate about it. In her free time Wilson enjoys running, spending time with her family, traveling, working, watching “Gilmore Girls” and listening to music. What she loves the most is working towards her goals for the future and being a big sister to her four siblings. After high school, Wilson hopes to go to State fair Community College or Missouri State University to major in social work and minor in journalism.
