Kimberly Tenold is the daughter of Elizabeth and Larry Tenold. Throughout high school she was involved in Church, FFA, NHS and working at sonic. Her future plans are to go to Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California, “I am joining the Marines to serve a 4 year active duty contract before I begin a career in structural welding and finding a place to settle down at.” What she’s looking forward to the most in the future is, “The day that I’m gonna graduate from bootcamp and get to see everyone again for the first time after 13 weeks.” If she goes to her ten year reunion she hopes to have accomplished completing a military contract, and afterwards start building a life for herself in her home life and career field. A teacher she’d like to thank would be, “I would like to thank Mrs. Smith (ag) because she has been an amazing example of how to handle situations without overreacting and always being a positive person for those around her even when things aren’t going as planned.” Her biggest achievement in high school was getting accepted into NHS. Her best memory from high school was, “Probably the last day of school my freshman year, I spent the last part of it in the ag building and I fell asleep on the floor with all my friends piled on top of me using me as a pillow until school was out.” What she’ll miss the most about Warsaw is, “I’m gonna miss knowing my way around this town and all the people I have met and made memories with and imma miss the school for the fact that it gave me the opportunities to experience everything that I have gotten to.” To celebrate the end of this era in her life she’ll try to spend as much time as she can with the people she cares about before she’s not able to for a long time. If she could go back to freshman year she would’ve asked her parents if she could do more things with her friends. Her advice to a younger student is, “Everyone might tell you to study hard but focus on making memories, stay up till 2 am laughing with friends instead of stressing your mind studying, but don’t just disregard school work. Your mind works better when you’re happy.”
