Sarah Jessica Sherlin is the daughter of Teresa Muller. Throughout high school she was involved in Scouts of America, Cheer, Archery, Band, Choir, and Scholarbowl, Drama. She plans to attend State Fair Community college for 2 years for early childhood education, then plans to transfer to UCM to finish her education to become a preschool teacher. A teacher she’d like to thank is, “My former English teacher from my old school named Mrs. Day. She had taught me how to persevere through tough times and was always there for me.” What she’s looking forward to the most next year is living on her own. Her biggest achievement in high school was her eagle scout rank. Her best memory from high school was her choir trip to Branson. What she’ll miss the most is the friends she made along her journey. If she could change something from freshman year she stated, “I would have made sure I had paid attention in school.” To celebrate the end of this era in her life, “I plan on traveling before I continue my journey to adulthood.” Advice she’d give to a younger student is, “There will always be someone cheering you on even if you feel like you have no one.”

About the Contributor
Abbey Wilson, News Photography Editor
Senior Abbey Wilson is on her third year with the Wildcat news production. This year as a photography editor, she will be checking everyone’s stories to make sure they have their photos and captions as well as making sure photo assignments are set. She decided to stay on staff again because with it being her senior year, she wanted to keep going with writing and photography because she’s passionate about it. In her free time Wilson enjoys running, spending time with her family, traveling, working, watching “Gilmore Girls” and listening to music. What she loves the most is working towards her goals for the future and being a big sister to her four siblings. After high school, Wilson hopes to go to State fair Community College or Missouri State University to major in social work and minor in journalism.
