Jade Parmalee is the daughter of Jessica and Cody Vannattan. Throughout high school she was involved in Choir inside school and working at Taco Bell outside of school. Her future plans are to attend beauty school in Sedalia and she hopes to be famous. What she’s looking forward to the most next year is moving away. A teacher she’d like to thank is Mrs. Smith. If she goes to her ten year reunion she hopes to be able to say that she has accomplished having a loving family. Her biggest achievement in high school was going to state for choir. What she’ll miss the most from high school is, “The friends that I might never see again.” To celebrate the end of this era in her life she’ll have a graduation party. If she could change something from freshman year she stated she would’ve cared more about her grades her first year of high school. Advice she’d give to a younger student is, “Don’t stop trying because it just goes downhill if you do.”

About the Contributor
Abbey Wilson, News Photography Editor
Senior Abbey Wilson is on her third year with the Wildcat news production. This year as a photography editor, she will be checking everyone’s stories to make sure they have their photos and captions as well as making sure photo assignments are set. She decided to stay on staff again because with it being her senior year, she wanted to keep going with writing and photography because she’s passionate about it. In her free time Wilson enjoys running, spending time with her family, traveling, working, watching “Gilmore Girls” and listening to music. What she loves the most is working towards her goals for the future and being a big sister to her four siblings. After high school, Wilson hopes to go to State fair Community College or Missouri State University to major in social work and minor in journalism.
