Serenity Miller is the daughter of Toni Bauman and Nate Miller. Throughout high-school she was involved in FBLA, FCCLA, FTA, NHS, Madrigal, Art Club, Math Club, Center Stage Academy of the Performing Arts, Archery, Prom Committee, Archery, and Student Council. What she’s looking forward to the most next year is starting a new chapter in her life. For school she plans to attend State Fair Community College in Sedalia for graphic design and illustration and then she will transfer to University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg to further her career in art. While she’s in school she plans to stay in Warsaw and eventually move to a bigger city by the time she graduates. She would like to thank all the teachers that have had a positive impact on her growing up, but to be specific she would like to give a special thank you to Mrs. Seigel for, “Always having my back and supporting me.” If she could go back to her freshman year she said she wouldn’t change anything because it shaped her into who she is today. Something she will miss about high school is being around her friends all day and growing up with the people she’s been to school with her whole life. Her biggest achievement in high school was being able to make memories with the people she loves. To celebrate the end of this era in her life she plans to celebrate her accomplishments with her friends and family with a graduation party. Her advice to a younger student is to, “Lock in and put yourself out there. You have to go to high school so you might as well have fun.” An extra piece of advice she would like to add is that while, “ You can’t change your past but you can let go and start your future.”
