William Henderson is the son of Amber and Trey Glenn, Michael and Kylie Henderson. Throughout high school he was involved in Football, Wrestling, Track, Church. He plans to attend State Fair Community College to get his associates degree in construction management, then go onto the Highway Patrol. What he’s looking forward to the most next year is having, “Days spent doing what I enjoy most, spending time with my family and friends, working to save up money for future expenses.” If he goes to his ten year reunion he hopes to have accomplished, “I hope to have got my associates, moved on to my job as a state trooper, and grow a family.” Teachers he’d like to thank would be, “I would like to thank all of my teachers for putting an impact on me, whether it was a positive or negative impact, and what it made me out to be. Helping me to shape myself.” His biggest achievement in high school was, “Maintaining the top 25 in my graduating class, as far as GPA and education goes.” Henderson’s best memory from high school was, “Best memory is probably the start of my high school football career, and just all of the memories from football all 4 years.” What he’ll miss the most about high school is, “The strong bond between friends that we’ll never have again, the teachers, good ones and bad, and the sports memories.” If he could go back to freshman year, “I would have joined track and wrestling earlier. I would have focused on friends more and worked less while still maintaining good grades.” To celebrate the end of this era in his life he’ll have one last get together with friends and family, at his graduation party. His advice to a younger student is, “Join up in some kind of sport or club/activity. You will regret it later when you make it to your senior year.” Something he’d like to add is, “Go out and do what you enjoy, not what others want you to do, go and hang out with a close group of friends, join a sport it will keep you out of trouble and you might surprise yourself on how it will change the person you are to the person you can be.”
