Shayla Kindle is the daughter of Justin Kindle and Carrie French, Carma Petree. Throughout high school she was involved in Track, FFA, FCA, FBLA, Prom Committee, Pep Club and A+ Tutoring. She plans to attend State Fair Community College to get her animal science degree then transfer to MSU after to either take her VTNE to become a certified Vet technician or get her agricultural business degree. What she’s looking forward to the most next year is, “Going to college to further my education in agriculture and work side by side with farmers.” A teacher she’d like to thank would be, “I would thank Mr. Dunnaway he has taught me everything I need to know about the simplest things in life to how to become a better person and athlete.” If she goes to her ten year reunion she hopes to have accomplished, “Having my own family as well as pursuing my career in agriculture.” Her biggest achievement in high school was, “Becoming a FFA officer as well as getting my college undergrad credits.” Her best memory from high school was, “Me and Kaleby vlogging at every track meet and laughing our lungs out in the library.” What she’ll miss the most from high school is, “All my friendships throughout the years and the teachers.” Kindle will be celebrating the end of this era in her life, “With my family and friends and going to Florida.” If she could change something from freshman year she stated she would, “Try harder my freshman year and explore more new things.” Advice she’d give to a younger student is, “Never give up when times are hard, there’s always a shoulder to lean on.”

About the Contributor
Abbey Wilson, News Photography Editor
Senior Abbey Wilson is on her third year with the Wildcat news production. This year as a photography editor, she will be checking everyone’s stories to make sure they have their photos and captions as well as making sure photo assignments are set. She decided to stay on staff again because with it being her senior year, she wanted to keep going with writing and photography because she’s passionate about it. In her free time Wilson enjoys running, spending time with her family, traveling, working, watching “Gilmore Girls” and listening to music. What she loves the most is working towards her goals for the future and being a big sister to her four siblings. After high school, Wilson hopes to go to State fair Community College or Missouri State University to major in social work and minor in journalism.
