Dylan Ellison is the son of Theresa and Donald Ellison. Throughout high school he was involved in FRC team 6886 the Synthesizers and team 9031 for the Wildbots, Men’s Choir, Madrigal, Band and Color Guard. He plans to attend University of Missouri- Columbia. What he’s looking forward to the most next year is going to Mizzou. His future goals are to go and sing with the KC Chorale. People he’d like to thank would be, “I have two, Marcus Sullivan, my youth pastor, and Deanna Schockmann, my Choir director.” His biggest achievement in high school was being awarded at state choir with a gold for his solo. If he goes to his ten year reunion he hopes to have accomplished, “Achieving my doctorates in Music performance and education and will be preparing for a position as a university choral director.”His best memory from high school was, “Proving that I am better than the people who put me down in choir.” What he’ll miss the most from high school is the friends he made along the way. If he could change something from freshman year he stated, “My laziness, I would apply myself to my studies so much more.” To celebrate the end of this era in his life he’ll be sleeping. His advice to a younger student is, “Push through, no matter how hard the path would seem, just keep going until you take hold of whatever set your heart ablaze with passion and hope.”

About the Contributor
Abbey Wilson, News Photography Editor
Senior Abbey Wilson is on her third year with the Wildcat news production. This year as a photography editor, she will be checking everyone’s stories to make sure they have their photos and captions as well as making sure photo assignments are set. She decided to stay on staff again because with it being her senior year, she wanted to keep going with writing and photography because she’s passionate about it. In her free time Wilson enjoys running, spending time with her family, traveling, working, watching “Gilmore Girls” and listening to music. What she loves the most is working towards her goals for the future and being a big sister to her four siblings. After high school, Wilson hopes to go to State fair Community College or Missouri State University to major in social work and minor in journalism.
