Owen Miskell is the son of Chad and Jen Miskell. Throughout high school he was involved in wrestling, fishing, and a youth group at church. His future plans are to, “Build something for myself, own a power washing business, AirBNB’s and real estate. Always trust and worship God and know that everything happens for a reason.” What he’s looking forward to the most next year is, “Building a life for myself because I know that I’m meant for more than a 9-5.” His biggest achievement in high school was making friends and memories. His best memory from high school was hanging out with friends. What he will miss the most about high school is his friends and how easy life was. If he could go back to freshman year he would’ve wrestled. To celebrate the end of this era in his life he will be, “Locking in and building something for myself that I can be proud of.” His advice to a younger student is, “Everything happens for a reason, God has a purpose for you.” Something he’d like to add is, John 13:7 ‘You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.’

About the Contributor
Abbey Wilson, News Photography Editor
Senior Abbey Wilson is on her third year with the Wildcat news production. This year as a photography editor, she will be checking everyone’s stories to make sure they have their photos and captions as well as making sure photo assignments are set. She decided to stay on staff again because with it being her senior year, she wanted to keep going with writing and photography because she’s passionate about it. In her free time Wilson enjoys running, spending time with her family, traveling, working, watching “Gilmore Girls” and listening to music. What she loves the most is working towards her goals for the future and being a big sister to her four siblings. After high school, Wilson hopes to go to State fair Community College or Missouri State University to major in social work and minor in journalism.
