Chloey Brazel is the daughter of Robin Brazel and the late Michael Brazel. During high school she was involved in cheerleading, church, FBLA, Madrigal, Women’s Choir, art club, pep club, All American Cheer, 2 musicals, 2 Showstoppers talent shows, choir caroling, guitar, and piano. Her future plans are to attend State Fair Community College. What she’s looking forward to the most next year is being part of a college choir and being able to explore her dream career, which includes either teaching deaf children or being a veterinarian. A mentor Brazel would like to thank is Mrs. Schockmann because she has taught her how to strive to do her best and take anything unfortunate as a reason to do better. She’s like a second mom to Chloey. She explains what her biggest accomplishment is in her high school career. “During my sophomore year I made All-American with a few others and got to go to Disney World and perform in the Christmas parade with other cheerleaders.” If she could go back to her freshman year, “I would try harder to get myself out of the mental health hole I was in, make more friends, and try harder in my classes.” One thing she will miss the most is the small town vibes, the goofy people in her grade, and getting to be young and free of employment. Brazel explains how she’s excited to start her new chapter and that she’s thankful for the memories along the way. “I’m terrified to end this chapter and start the next, but crazy thankful for the memories along the way!”
