Addison Sherrill is the daughter of Amber Setzer, Shiree and Lance Sherrill. Throughout high school she was involved in Softball, Volleyball, Pep-Club, Prom Committee, FBLA, Journalism/Yearbook, Multimedia and working at The Fix. Her future plans are to go to State Fair Community College and transfer to UCM to pursue a business degree. What she’s looking forward to the most next year is meeting new people and getting out of her comfort zone to try new things. If she goes to her ten year reunion she hopes to have accomplished graduating college and finding a stable place in a successful career. She also hopes to have traveled to her dream places and eventually begin to settle down with a family by then. A teacher she’d like to thank would be, “I would like to thank Mrs. Spunaugle. She always made learning less stressful and more enjoyable.” Her biggest achievement in high school was winning a state championship title during the Ladycat’s 2025 softball season. Her favorite memory from high school was all the little moments she shared with her closest friends and just enjoying being together on and off the field. If she could go back to freshman year she’d tell herself that nothing in life is ever that serious and to have more fun. To celebrate the end of this era in her life she plans to celebrate with a graduation party with close friends and family, then go to Mexico with her Mom. Her advice to a younger student is, “It goes by faster than you think, so don’t spend it wishing you were somewhere else.” Something she’d like to add is, “Take advantage of your childhood and make the most of the 4 years you have here.”

About the Contributor
Abbey Wilson, News Photography Editor
Senior Abbey Wilson is on her third year with the Wildcat news production. This year as a photography editor, she will be checking everyone’s stories to make sure they have their photos and captions as well as making sure photo assignments are set. She decided to stay on staff again because with it being her senior year, she wanted to keep going with writing and photography because she’s passionate about it. In her free time Wilson enjoys running, spending time with her family, traveling, working, watching “Gilmore Girls” and listening to music. What she loves the most is working towards her goals for the future and being a big sister to her four siblings. After high school, Wilson hopes to go to State fair Community College or Missouri State University to major in social work and minor in journalism.
