Brennen Slavens is the son of Michael and Melissa Slavens. Throughout high school he was involved in Football, Baseball, Basketball, Student council, NHS, FBLA, Math Club, FFA, and Pep Club. Slavens plans to eventually attend a four year college and pursue a degree in engineering and live life to the fullest. What he is looking forward to the most next year is meeting new people and starting a new chapter in life. If he goes to his ten year reunion he hopes to have accomplished finishing school and continuing to live the dream each and every day. Coaches he’d like to thank would be, “I would thank my coaches for everything they have taught me in my four years. They have dedicated so much of their time outside of school hours.” His biggest achievement in high school was hanging banners with the boys. His best memory from high school was the time he got to spend on the field with the boys. What he’ll miss the most about his class is, “I’m going to miss being around the same group of people since I could remember.” To celebrate the end of this era in his life he will be, “Going to Mexico with the boys.” If he could go back to freshman year he’d want to work harder and take nothing for granted. His advice to a younger student is, “Time flies when you’re having fun.”

About the Contributor
Abbey Wilson, News Photography Editor
Senior Abbey Wilson is on her third year with the Wildcat news production. This year as a photography editor, she will be checking everyone’s stories to make sure they have their photos and captions as well as making sure photo assignments are set. She decided to stay on staff again because with it being her senior year, she wanted to keep going with writing and photography because she’s passionate about it. In her free time Wilson enjoys running, spending time with her family, traveling, working, watching “Gilmore Girls” and listening to music. What she loves the most is working towards her goals for the future and being a big sister to her four siblings. After high school, Wilson hopes to go to State fair Community College or Missouri State University to major in social work and minor in journalism.
