Wesley Jackson is the son of Andrew Jackson and Elisabeth Fostich. Throughout high school he was involved in cross country, track, national honor society, FFA, working at Rockin O’ Farms, his uncle’s farm, and a constitutional seminar once a week. He plans to attend University of Missouri- Kansas City to potentially study law. What he is looking forward to the most next year is not having to attend school in the mornings. A past teacher he’d like to thank is retired math teacher Mrs. Spunagle. His biggest achievement in high school was placing at cross country state. His favorite memory from high school was track meets because they were fun. What he will miss the most from high school is the people. His advice to a younger student is, “If you want to talk about something, get educated about it. Read books, get a deep understanding for what you care about.”

About the Contributor
Abbey Wilson, News Photography Editor
Senior Abbey Wilson is on her third year with the Wildcat news production. This year as a photography editor, she will be checking everyone’s stories to make sure they have their photos and captions as well as making sure photo assignments are set. She decided to stay on staff again because with it being her senior year, she wanted to keep going with writing and photography because she’s passionate about it. In her free time Wilson enjoys running, spending time with her family, traveling, working, watching “Gilmore Girls” and listening to music. What she loves the most is working towards her goals for the future and being a big sister to her four siblings. After high school, Wilson hopes to go to State fair Community College or Missouri State University to major in social work and minor in journalism.
