Juniors Aubree Smith and Josh Harvath are running for Homecoming princess and prince. Being a Homecoming candidate is important to Smith because she wanted to have the experience of simply being a candidate. Harvath agreed. “You can only experience this when you’re a junior and senior,” he said. Smith is involved in basketball and Pep Club. She wants to go into real estate and interior designing. Aubree is most proud of “the improvement I have made of myself, growing up and maturing,” and Aubree’s strategy to get people to vote for her is to be respectful to people, she doesn’t plan to bribe or force anyone, and just plans to be nice and hopefully receive votes. Harvath is in FBLA, FFA, and sports. Harvath’s plans are to play college football. He is most proud of his family. To campaign, he is going to make posters.
