Senior Courtwarming candidates Tanna Howe and Brennen Slavens are both heavily involved in school activities and represent dedication, school spirit, and hard work. Howe participates in volleyball and softball and is active in NHS, FBLA, Student Council, Journalism, Multimedia, Pep Club, and also serves as a wrestling manager. Slavens is involved in football, baseball, basketball, FBLA, Student Council, NHS, and Math Club. Outside of school, Howe enjoys reading her Bible, spending time with friends, and making memories with her family, while Slavens likes hanging out with friends and watching sports. Howe is especially proud of committing to the University of Central Missouri on a softball scholarship and overcoming an ACL injury, while Slavens takes pride in academic and team accomplishments. After high school, Howe plans to continue her athletic career while studying Early Childhood Education or Business Marketing, and Slavens plans to attend college to study engineering or finance. Both candidates say their favorite part of Courtwarming is the game itself and the memories that come with it, making them great representatives of school pride and tradition.

Senior Hailey Ferguson is taking on her 2rd year of being an editor, and 4th year of being a part of the Journalism family. This year she is the Online Managing Editor. Ferguson is involved in volleyball, softball, wrestling manager, NHS, Student Council, and pep club. Outside of school you can find her working at The Fix and being with her family. One of her greatest passions is to pursue a degree in elementary education. She will be attending Northwest in the fall of 2026 to begin her freshman year. Her after college plans are to teach at whatever school she decides and start a family. Her immediate family include her parents, Mike and Andrea and her siblings, Garrett, Kylee, and Avery. Her mom is her biggest inspiration, and hopes to be half the person she is. Ferguson is a very determined and hardworking person and ready to take on her last year on staff!
