Students shine bright at 2024 Courtwarming

Hailey Ferguson
Hailey Ferguson, Managing Editor - The Wildcat Online
This is sophomore Hailey Ferguson’s second year on the journalism staff. This year she will be the social media and web managing editor. Ferguson is involved in volleyball, softball, basketball, and student council. Outside of school she works at the Last Resort Campground and Country Charm. She enjoys babysitting and would cancel certain plans to babysit kids she loves. After high school, she plans to get her degree in teaching. She wants to be an elementary school teacher, grade Kindergarten-Third. She also wants to be a high school volleyball coach. As of right now, she is hoping to go to Northwest. After college, she plans to keep working to be able to provide for her family. Her immediate family include her parents, Mike and Andrea and her siblings, Garrett, Kylee, and Avery. Ferguson is a very determined and hardworking person and ready to take on this next year on staff. 
Tanna Howe
Tanna Howe, Managing Editor - The Wildcat
This is Tanna Howe's second year with the WHS Wildcat News Staff. Howe is a sophomore, while being involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, and pep club for the 2023-2024 school year. For this year's Newspaper staff, she is the Print Managing Editor. In her free time, she enjoys playing on her travel softball team, traveling coast to coast with softball tournaments, and hanging out with friends and family, while maintaining her relationship with God. After high school, Howe plans to attend a Division 1 college on a softball scholarship. Tanna hopes for a great second year of writing for the WHS Wildcat newspaper staff. Go Cats! 
Grace Drake
Grace Drake, Staff Writer
Grace Drake is a senior on the journalism staff. This is her first year writing for The Wildcat. Drake is involved in basketball, softball, Madrigal, FFA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, and pep club.  Her hobbies include playing the guitar, singing, riding her horses, and helping teach her youth group. After high school, Grace plans to attend SBU, where she will major in Business Management and minor in Youth Ministry. She hopes to play collegiate girls basketball. Her biggest dream is to travel the country as a music artist and share her talents with the world. Drake plans to broaden the newspaper to cover a larger variety of students in the high school.
