Sophomore Misty Wingender is in her first year of The Wildcat News staff, trying to defeat the evil social anxiety through interviewing people face to face, and being a part of a new family. Wingender is involved in journalism to try to be a strong independent person in the future. Wingender’s free time allows her to watch anime, attempt to write stories, read a variety of books, sketch realistic and anime characters, daydream and listen to music, and take pictures of her three dogs, one cat, and one baby lizard, named Lollipop. Wingender’s greatest accomplishment is being in National Junior Honor Society in Texas. Wingender's plans for the future is to go to an art school to have a major and also to have a great career of writing stories and sketching.
