Class of 2018

As the class of 2018 gets ready to say goodbye, they have big plans in store and reminisce their high school years.

  Ashton Adams is the daughter of Ryan and Sharon Adams. Adams was involved in math club, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, pep club, science club and volleyball. Her future plans are to attend college at Metropolitan Community College for the first two years and then transfer to UCM to become an elementary teacher. Her best memory from high school is Courtwarming senior year and all the running jokes the class has. Her advice for underclassmen is to “Have fun, things will fall into place.”

  Jessie Andrews is the son of Gordon and Sharlie Andrews. Andrews was involved in football, CTC and pep club. His future plans are to join the carpenter’s union. What he will miss most is making people laugh and seeing his best friends every day. One piece of advice he has to share with underclassmen is to show up to school.

  Mikayla Andrews is the daughter on Josh and Tanya Andrews. Throughout high school she was involved in track, volleyball, cross country, archery, student council, pep club, English club, science club, FCA, Madrigal, and Women’s Choir. Her future plans are to attend the University of Missouri to receive a doctorate in Physical therapy. Her best memory from high school is when she was a candidate for Echoes and Courtwarming.

  King Archer is the son of April Rowland. Throughout high school he was involved in band, science club and FFA. His future plans are to become a diesel technician. His best memory is from high school is spending time with his friends.

  Warren Auge is the son of Jennifer Bradshaw. He was involved in band and robotics. His future plans are to attend State Tech. His advice for underclassmen is to make sure to have fun.

  Devan Bartley is the son of James Bartley. His future plans are to work his way up in the Walmart Corporation. His piece of advice for underclassmen is to enjoy it while it lasts.

  Molly Baumhoff is the daughter of  Marty and Darlene Baumhoff. She was involved in band, jazz band, ukulele, art club and English club. Her future plans are to go to college to get a degree in art and veterinary sciences. One piece of advice she would like to share with underclassmen is be nice to everybody.

  Cole Branson is the son of Rick and Sharla Branson. He was involved in football, baseball and basketball. His future plans are to attend OTC. His best memory from high school is beating Lincoln in basketball on their court.

 Ryan Burks is the son of Judy Burks. Throughout high school he was involved in FFA. His future plans are to get his certification for master industrial and structural welding, get married, and have a kid or two.

 Caleb Burrows is the son of Tim and Jeanette Burrows. Throughout high school he was involved in skating. He plans on attending Lincoln Tech. One piece of advice he’d like to share for the underclassmen is to make sure you get involved because you don’t want to miss out on everything like he did.

   Hannah Chapman is the daughter of Robert and Stacey Chapman. Throughout high school she was involved in varsity volleyball, varsity cross country, varsity basketball, varsity track and field, varsity cheer, concert band, marching band, color guard, student council, NHS, FBLA, FCA, FCCLA, science club, English club, the A+ program, speech and debate, academic team,  and pep club. Her future plans are to attend State Fair Community College and then transfer to the University of Missouri to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner. Her favorite memory from high school is Homecoming 2017 when she won queen. Her advice for underclassmen is to get involved and have fun, high school is short and full of amazing opportunities.

  Kylee Creach is the daughter of John and Samantha Wright. Throughout high school she was involved in FFA, trapshooting club, student council, English club, basketball, softball, cheerleading, track, and choir. Her future plans are to go into the Air Force and attend college to obtain a degree in marine biology. Her best memory from high school is bus rides to games and meets.

   Drew Dawson is the daughter of Paul and Heather Hawley. Her future plans are to attend UCM and pursue a bachelor’s of science in criminal justice. After graduating college she would like to go into law enforcement. What she will miss most is seeing her friends everyday, especially all the underclassmen friends that she has made this year. Her one piece of advice for underclassmen is “Coming from a person who constantly stressed about their grades throughout high school, relax your senior year still work hard but don’t worry as much because you can and will graduate.”

  Elijah Dillion is the son of Michael and Ruth Milam. Throughout high school he was involved in band. His future plans are to attend State Fair for two years and become a cartoon animator or comedian. His best memory from high school is the one time he ate baby food during the assembly.

  William Dornan is the son of David Doran and Amy Vogel. Throughout high school he was involved in choir and Madrigal. He plans on attending State Fair Community College.  

  Caitlin Easter is the daughter of Ralph and Melissa Easter. Throughout high school she was involved in NHS, speech, student council, academic team, Madrigal, musicals, pep club, math club, science club, English club and FCA. Her future plans are to attend the University of Missouri Kansas City to become an ER Trauma Doctor. Her piece of advice for underclassmen is to get involved, activities are what make high school.

   Zoe Eledge is the daughter of Chad and Kim Eledge. Throughout high school she was involved in band, jazz band, ukulele, wrestling manager. Her future plans are to attend UCM to get a degree in instrumental music education. Her favorite memory is when the band went to six flags in Texas.  

   Mariah Ethridge is the daughter of Jon Ethridge and Ashley Haidusek. Throughout high school she was involved in ProStart, FCCLA, track, volleyball, science club and pep club. Her future plans are  to attend State Fair and then transfer to the University of Central Missouri; she would like to pursue a career as an RN. The thing she will miss most about Warsaw is the teachers.

   Alexys Farley is the daughter of James Farley and Brenda Johnson. Throughout high school she was involved in FFA and Science club. Her future plans are to attend State Fair Community College and then transfer to Missouri State University; she would like to become a psychologist. Her one piece of advice for underclassmen is to be very active, try to join as many things as you can.

  Rayne Faulconer is the son of Wendy Faulconer. Throughout high school he was involved in football, golf, FFA, Madrigal, science club, student council, pep club and NHS. His future plans are to attend the University of Missouri to get a degree in animal science. His parting words to his graduating class are “The past four years have been the best of my life, I hope to stay in touch with all of you. I love you guys and this town; it will forever be in my heart.”

   Nathaniel Fauquier is the grandson of Valorie Fauquier. Throughout high school he was involved in band, Madrigal, football, wrestling, track and baseball. His future plans are to join the marines. His best memory from high school is the first win of senior year football season. His best piece of advice for underclassmen, “Take it from the laziest class: life won’t be all fun and games.”

 Gabriella Flores is the daughter of Eric and Teresa Flores. Throughout high school she was involved in basketball, softball, FBLA and pep club. Her future plans are to get her LPN then RN. Her favorite memory from high school is softball season.

  Stephen Gentry is the son of Brandi Gentry. His future plans are to attend State Tech.

   Keegan Glenn is the son of Keith and Sherri Glenn. Throughout high school he was involved in football, basketball and baseball. He plans on attending OTC. His favorite memory from high school was senior year homecoming.

  Triston Good is the son of Jeremie and Bobbie Good. Throughout high school he was involved in archery and speech. His future plans are to attend Missouri S&T and become a Nanobot or Chemical Engineer. His advice for underclassmen is to work hard, never give up and always prepare for the worst.

  Daniel Harris is the son of William Harris. Throughout high school he was involved in basketball and choir. His future plans are to attend State Fair Community College.

  Makenzie Hensley is the daughter of Gary and Barbara Hensley. Throughout high school she was involved in FCCLA, NHS and math club. Her future plans are to attend Southwest Baptist to become a elementary teacher. Her favorite memory from high school was the NHS bowling trip.

  Colter Hetherington is the son of Dale and Nichole Hetherington. Hetherington is involved in STUCO, FBLA, and art club. After high school, Hetherington will move to Warrensburg to attend University of Central Missouri were he plans to finish his degree and get a job. Hetherington will miss his friends and a few faculty members from Warsaw High.

  Owen Howard is the son of Michael and Megan Howard. Howard was involved in baseball and CTC. After school, he plans to make the move to Peculiar to get a good paying job. Howard’s favorite memory from high school was going out to the team dinners before the baseball games.

  Brooke Jelinek is the daughter of Joey and Dawn Jelinek. Jelinek was involved in varsity volleyball, student council, FBLA, and NHS. Her future plans are to move to Sedalia to attend State Fair for two years using her A+, then make the move to Central Missouri to become an elementary school teacher. Jelinek’s favorite high school memory was volleyball and her advice to underclassmen is to “Stay positive and be kind to everyone!”

  Devin Johnson is the daughter of Debbie Johnson. Throughout high school, Johnson was involved in volleyball. Her plans are to move to Columbia to attend Paul Mitchell. Johnson’s advice to underclassmen is to “Make smart decisions, and don’t act like school doesn’t mean anything, because it catches up to you later.”

   Kyra Kleihauer is the daughter of Steve and Marsha Kleihauer. Kleihauer was involved in art club, English club, NHS, student council, color guard, band, and yearbook throughout high school. Her plans after graduation are to make the move to Kansas City to attend nursing school at UMKC, to get BSN degree and work as an emergency care nurse. Kleihauer’s favorite memory from high school was, “my junior year when I was accepted into the Medical Explorer Program with Bothwell Hospital.”

 Jazzlyn Kurtenbach is the daughter of JC Westfall and Arron Kurtenbach. She was involved in FBLA. Her future plans are to stay in Warsaw and attend State Fair to purse a degree. Kurtenbach’s advice to underclassmen is “Don’t drop out. Push through for yourself even when it feels tough.”

 Dallas Larsen is the son of Derrick and Charine Larsen. Larsen was involved in wrestling, track, cross country, NHS, and math club. His plans after high school consist of making the move to Rolla. “I will ship out and begin training with the Army right after graduation. After the completion of BCT and AIT, I will enroll second semester at Missouri S&T where I will pursue a degree in Computer Science.” Larsen said he will miss playing sports, hanging out with friends after football games, and seeing everyone he grew up with in one place.

  Adrian Marlin is the son of Jessica Marlin. Marlin was involved in journalism, FBLA, art club, and speech. After high school Marlin plans to make the move to Maryville to attend Northwest Missouri State University. He plans to travel the world and maybe find a career as an English teacher. His favorite memory from high school was all of his friends. His advice to underclassmen was to not stress.  

  Daryl Meldrum is the son of Dave and Tracy Meldrum. He was involved in track and football throughout high school. After graduation, Meldrum plans to move to Springfield where he will attend MSU and use his A+ scholarship. His future plans are to join the Navy and work in the nursing field. His advice to underclassmen is to “Do all of your work early on so senior year you can take it easy and enjoy your last year.”

  Eric Meldrum is the son of Tracy Meldrum. In high school, Meldrum was involved in FFA and ukulele. After graduation Meldrum plans to stay in Warsaw and attend college at State Fair. He plans to work for an electric company while drag racing on the side. Meldrum said he will miss walking down the hallways and seeing all of the smiling faces after high school.

  Cash Miller is the son of Mark and Kim Miller. Miller was involved in baseball, football, archery, trap shooting, NHS, and student council. His graduation plans are to move to Trenton and attend UCMC. Miller’s advice to underclassmen is “Figure out early that it’s a short four years and learn to enjoy it. If you think you hate it, remember it’s the best time of your life because it’s the last time you can be a kid before life starts.”

  Kaylee Moody is the daughter of Vickie and Crystal Shaw. Moody was involved in archery and science club. Her plans are to move to Kansas City and get started on her career. Moody will miss her family and friends and all the fun memories she had.

  Kylee Myers is the daughter of Mike and Amanda Myers. Myers was involved in archery, cheerleading, pep club, English club, speech, NHS, student council, and science club. Her plans after high school are to move to Kansas City to attend UMKC to become a trauma doctor. Myers best memory from high school was winning the regional competition in cheerleading her sophomore year.

   Logan Neth is the son of Ricky and Shirl Neth. Neth was involved in FFA, football, and CTC. After graduation Neth plans stay local and attend State Fair. Neth said his favorite memory from high school was beating Hallsville during a football game, and his advice to underclassmen is to stay focused but have fun.

  Lee Newell is the son of Roni and Jeff Newell. Newell was involved in archery during high school. His future plans are move to Kansas City to possibly attend college and get set in a career. His advice to underclassmen is to, “Figure out what you like to do and try and find a career in it.”

  Tristan Page is the son of Marcie Page. Page will continue to stay in Warsaw after graduation. His advice to underclassmen is to keep trying.

  Nick Phillips is the son of Teresa and Delmar Graves. Phillips was involved in baseball, CTC, and FFA. After graduation he plans to stay and Warsaw and work on a farm. Phillips said he will miss hanging out with friends.

  Breanna Riggs is the daughter of Jonathan and MIchelle Riggs. Riggs was involved in performance choir, women’s choir, FBLA, and FFA. Her future plans after high school are to make the move to the city to attend college and get a degree in zoology and business. Her favorite memory from high school was hanging out with her friends.

  Schrelle Roberts is the daughter of Schrelle and Philip Roberts. Roberts’ future plans are still undecided, but she would like to move away from Warsaw. Roberts’ favorite memory from high school was homecoming and the parade.

  Tommy Robitsch is the son of Glenn and Tracy Robitsch. Robitsch was involved in football and baseball throughout high school. His future plans are to stay local and possibly attend State Fair. His advice to underclassmen is to be kind to everyone.

   Cora Rodgers is the daughter of Sheila and Luke Rodgers. Rodgers was involved in band, marching band, Madrigal, wrestling, cheerleading, track, and drum line. After graduation her plans are to live in Lincoln and attend State Fair using A+ scholarship. Her favorite memory from high school was the guy/girl dance with the cheerleading team.

   Madi Rozzel is the daughter of Kelly Wolford, Daniel Rozzel, Clayton Wolford, and Brandi Rozzel. She was involved in art, Madrigal, FCCLA, student council, and cheerleading. Rozzell’s future plans are to stay local and work for a living. Rozzell said once graduating she will miss the people the most. “I met so many beautiful people. Travis, Dillon, Destiny, Amber, Kylee, and so many more. I’m just gonna miss seeing familiar faces.”

  Jayden Schepker is the son of Gayla Schepker. Throughout high school Schepker was involved in wrestling, football, pep club, and student council. After graduation, Schepker will make the move to Springfield to attend OTC and pursue a business degree. His favorite memory from high school was winning the homecoming game senior year. Schepker said he will miss the bond he had with coaches and friends.

  Tyler Simons is the son of Emmi Smith and Shane Simons. Simons was involved in NHS, basketball, FBLA, pep club, and journalism. His future plans are to attend State Fair and transfer to the University of Missouri to purse a career in journalism. He is hopeful to get a job as a professional sports commentator. Simons’ advice to underclassmen is to “Put an emphasis on academics and try to work outside of school, it builds work ethic and that is vital to have in life.”

  Eric Smith is the son of Dustin Smith. Smith was involved FFA throughout high school. After graduation he plans to move to Sedalia to attend State Fair to continue his career in welding. His advice to underclassmen is to have fun but don’t peak to soon.

   Ryan Sprouse is the son of Richard and Nina Sprouse. Sprouse was involved in Madrigal, band, science club, football, baseball, and basketball. Sprouse plans to move to Mount Pleasant, Iowa where he will attend Iowa Wesleyan University. His future plans are to achieve a degree in criminal justice and psychology. His favorite memory from high school was going to San Diego with Madrigal. His advice to underclassmen is to “Keep looking forward. Don’t be stuck on the now. Focus on your future and keep pushing forward even if it gets tough.”

  Emily Stantorf is the daughter of William Stantorf. She was involved in Madrigal, women’s choir, science club, band, NHS, and cheerleading. After graduation she plans to move to Fayette to attend Central Methodist University to pursue a career in finance. Stantorf’s advice to underclassmen is to go to school as much as you can because when it’s over you will wish you could still go back.

  Jagger Stevenson is the son of Tracy Stevenson. In high school he was involved in football. After graduation Stevenson plans to move up to Independence and attend State Fair. His future career us to become a welder. Stevenson’s advice to underclassmen is to not get in trouble.

  Auge Warren is the son of Jennifer Bradshaw. He was involved in band robotics during high school. His plans to move to St.Louis to attend State Tech. Warren’s advice to underclassmen is to make sure and have fun.

  Cody Wilson is the son of Buffy Vorce and Cody Wilson. Wilson was involved in NHS, English club, pep club, math club, and A+. His plans after graduation are to move to Rolla to attend Missouri S&T to get his bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering and purse a job at NASA. His favorite memory from high school was winning homecoming king, and his advice to underclassmen is “Don’t be afraid to be yourself. You’re young and you’re mistakes aren’t going to be the end of the world.”
