Eating out is a very popular thing for students to do around Warsaw. There are many different places to dine throughout Benton County. There is a wide variety of food types for people to choose from.

“My favorite place to eat in Warsaw would be El Camino,” junior Diego Ross said.

He enjoys eating out for different reasons, but mainly because he gets to go out with family and friends. Ross states that the best type of food to eat, in his opinion, is Mexican food because it is very good.

Not only is eating out a good social experience with friends and family, but also helps people avoid the work that goes into their favorite meal.

“I love eating out because of the simple fact that I do not have to wash my dishes after eating,” sophomore Serenity Miller said. She prefers to enjoy her meal without the stress of cleaning up.

Going out to restaurants can be a rewarding thing for some people. Most students claimed that they don’t go to restaurants very often, others say they do.

“I don’t go to restaurants very often, maybe a couple of times a month, because I am usually pretty busy between sports and school,” freshman Elizabeth Winters said.

Winters enjoys going out when she is able to so that she can enjoy the time with her family. Students who spend a lot of time with friends may go sit down and eat a meal more often.

Usually, teenagers spend their time eating out with friends to catch up on life. This could mean that they tend to go out once to three times a week, maybe even more.

“I eat out at restaurants very often, a few times a week, with my family and friends,” sophomore Jase Hubert said. Hubert loves Mexican food, El Camino overall, because he can’t make it as good at home.

Senior Angela Konopasek says her favorite place to eat out is at Yellow Deli because they have healthier options. She tries to tend to healthy food as a better option for her. Konopasek mentions that she usually orders a good salad as her main course.

“I try my best to not go out very often so that when I do it is an exciting thing,” Konopasek said.

Restaurants have many different kinds of foods for people to pick from, such as burgers, pizza, tacos, or salads.

“I love going to R-Bar because I get to order really good food everytime and usually get something new,” freshman Karly Keele said. Keele states that she goes to R-Bar a lot, sometimes every week. She enjoys this time to talk with her mom to catch up on their week while appreciating their meal.

Junior Diego Ross says he likes to order noodles with chicken, or another type of meat, from the new Asianfy Bistro in Warsaw. Many other students have claimed that Asianfy is their favorite restaurant around Benton County.

“Asianfy Bistro is definitely my favorite because it is not something you have regularly at home,” freshman Elaina Padron said. Chinese food is very popular, especially right now because it is a newer restaurant.

Overall, restaurants get quite a bit of attention. There are so many students that visit local places with family and friends. It has been expressed by many students that dine-in restaurants are a great way to communicate with people and catch up on life.
