Junior Alysia Yoder

Junior Alysia Yoder wrestles in the 110 weight class. Yoder has been wrestling for two years. She got into wrestling because she was friends with some wrestlers and she had always had an interest, also her dad wrestled so it was encouraged. Yoder’s biggest achievement is trying new finishes and moves, and also competing with top level girls while actually putting up a fight. Her favorite memories are the car rides to the girl only tournaments, they always have the funniest but yet most real conversations or just napping and waking up to people taking pictures of you. Yoder hopes for this season is to get farther in the season than she did last year, even if she does not place at state, she want to see improvement so she can know it is possible. Yoder is looking to improve on the range of moves she can do confidently.
