Senior Spotlight ’23: Rachel Yoast
Rachel Yoast is the daughter of Lisa Yoast. She worked in a nurse home and was a tutor. She plans to attend Kansas City Art Institute or State Fair Community College. Her favorite memory is meeting her friends and forming their own small community. Her advice to students is, “get any of the classes you don’t want out of the way first; trust me, once you’re a senior you’re not going to want to do them.” She also wants the students to know, “be kind, politics and love and friendships don’t matter right now. Your mental health matters more than anything else. Treat the people who disrespect you with kindness and treat the ones close to you with love. A small argument you won’t remember next week isn’t worth losing a friendship over. It goes by faster than you think.”
