Jamboree kicks off boys basketball season
Members of the boys basketball team received a taste of the upcoming season as they played in the Jamboree on Friday Nov. 21st, in Lebanon Missouri.
The Wildcats competed against Rolla, Osage, and Lebanon. After the team finished the Jamboree with one win and two loses, practice is continued for the boys to improve for this season.
“The team played ok against two class 5 teams,” coach Jared Wallace said.
As the season is approaching, the team continues to work on fundamentals of the game and improving the overall playing experience.
“The team needs to be more efficient on the offensive end and we need to work and improve on our defense,” Wallace said.
Hopes for a successful are kept in mind as the team continues to better themselves individually as well.
“I’m working on my shooting for this season,” junior Austin McCall said.
