Juniors host rooftop prom and Illuminate the Night
The 2021 Prom was held at The Lodge of Four Seasons in Osage Beach. The juniors on the prom committee chose to use the same venue picked for the 2020 prom, which was cancelled due to COVID-19.
“We knew how much the seniors loved it, and we wanted to give them a senior prom to remember and love,” prom committee member junior Taylor Howe said.
A rooftop dance was held after dinner, which was catered by The Lodge of Four Seasons with ice cream from the Ice Cream Factory of Eldon for dessert. Other activities included cornhole and a photo booth provided by Elite Photo booth from Springfield.
Seniors Bradley Brown and Emmaleigh Kowal were crowned Prom King and Queen during coronation.
“I really wasn’t expecting it, I heard people talking about wanting me to win, but I didn’t think it would actually happen,” Kowal said.
“All the kids looked like they were enjoying the night and they were all very well behaved. I think my favorite part about prom night was seeing it all come together and witnessing the junior class prom committee’s hard work paying off,” junior class sponsor Jennifer Greene said.
