Students shoot for the stars during short Courtwarming week
The week of Courtwarming was one filled with snow days and bright colors. The theme of the event was “Shooting for the Stars” with spirit days to match the celestial theme.
Due to inclement weather, school was cancelled on Feb. 5 and 6, but students were still able to participate on Tuesday (Neon Day) and Friday (Color War).
Neon Day was won by senior Aubrie McRoberts and junior Grant Miller. Seniors Lerran Yoder and Ally Wenberg won the Color War.
Coronation for the royalty court was held during halftime of the boys basketball game against El Dorado Springs on Feb. 7; The Wildcats beat the Bulldogs with a score of 56-53.
Seniors Parker Love and Aubrie McRoberts were voted as the Courtwarming King and Queen, while juniors Zachary Sharp and Haven Collins were crowned as the Courtwarming Prince and Princess.
