Senior creates and records memories in Multimedia class

Senior Matthew Stebbins

Creating the multimedia weekly announcements has been a fun and educational project for senior Matthew Stebbins this year.

Teachers Kimberly Pate and Bethany Siegel have come together and decided that Stebbins was the senior student that excelled the most in business and computer classes.

“He is creative and dedicated and he seems to take his assignments seriously,” said business teacher Kim Pate.

Stebbins has taken seven business classes, including Multimedia, Web Design, Desktop Publishing, Personal Finance, Entrepreneurship, Computer Applications and Intro to Business.

“The most difficult thing about working on senior video is not having footage of people you need, but you can usually put something together and it looks good. It has defiantly taught me to plan ahead, get footage before you need it and make sure you get everyone,” Stebbins said.

“His camera presence is unique,” Pate said. “He is not dry.”

Stebbins joined Business and Computers classes because he thought it would be fun and he tries to make it as fun as possible. He believes that taking these classes has helped him prepare for his future.

“It’s all good memories, except for the football part of the senior video,” Stebbins said.

Stebbins has shined in his business classes this year, from doing announcement segments to making a very creative avatar.
