High school has been a roller coaster and one I wont forget. A majority of my memories come from my sports seasons. My favorite memory of all time came from running out of the tunnel my freshman year against Cole Camp – it’s a feeling I can’t describe.
While it has been full of good memories, playing sports has done more than be memories. Playing football has taught me how to go through adversity and it taught me the hardest part of football was waking up in the morning for summer workouts. While it was difficult waking up early, it allowed me to experience things I could only experience once. I would say because of football, my high school experience was extremely fast, but also extremely exciting. There isn’t anything like going to school on a Friday and playing in a heart pumping game right after, it’s an amazing feeling.
While it was very fun, there were moments that were challenging and tiring. Whenever moments got too difficult, I always looked up to my goat, Lebron Raymone James. Lebron gave me the willpower to overcome difficult tasks and persevere. Whenever times got tough, Bron was there, and it was sunshine and blue skies from there, I would watch Lebron James highlights every morning to get me hyped and watch him become the king. While my highschool academics has helped me prepare for my future ultimately my athletics has helped prepare me for any adversity in life and what it takes to be a winner, it was always more than just a sport it helped shape my life.
