Marissa Ricke is the daughter of Kevin and Sharon Ricke. After high school, she plans on living in Warsaw, where her future plans are house flipping, running a café called “Messy Bagel” and starting up a self-sustaining homestead. Ricke was involved in KoC event volunteering, karate, band, color guard, robotics, NHS, volunteer firefighter, tabletop gaming club, and art club. Mentors she would like to thank are Mr. Waller and Mr. Dehaan for giving her the opportunity to experience robotics and the amazing community it revolves around. Her favorite memory from high school was just about anytime she got to be with her friends/school family. “I will miss the comfort of walking into a room and knowing just about everyone there. Her advice to a younger student is, “The ‘can do’ is so much better than the ‘what ifs’ and ‘could have been.’ Keep going strong – life only gets better if you want it to.” If she could go back and change anything from high school she would get out of her comfort zone a lot faster. “I am and will always be a Wildcat at heart. Go Cats!” Ricke said.
