Ashlynn Adams is the daughter of Chad Adams. Ashlynn plans on living in Middletown, Connecticut to attend Wesleyan University in the fall, and in is undecided on the major. She was involved in cheerleading, band, FBLA, StuCo, NHS, math club, and yearbook. “One teacher I would like to thank would be Mrs. Adler. The three years I spent in Mrs. Adler’s classroom hold some of my favorite memories from high school. Not only did I learn how passionate I am about journalism through Mrs. Adler’s class, but I also learned what it means to be a journalist and the responsibilities that come with this title. The countless number of hours spent editing, correcting, and perfecting every page of the yearbook with Mrs. Adler brought moments of life lessons and priceless advice. Thank you, Mrs. Adler, for supporting me in anything and everything I chose to pursue.” Adams said. When she goes to her 10-year reunion, she will hopefully have finished any schooling she may need for her profession, found a good job that makes her happy, and be surrounded by the people in her life that she loves. Her biggest achievement in high school was receiving the Questbridge Match scholarship and getting a full ride to Wesleyan University. Her favorite memory is taking a trip to the National Journalism Convention in Kansas City with her best friend. Her advice to a younger student is, “Stay focused and motivated, but don’t forget to live your life too. What they say is true, you are only in high school once. It doesn’t have to be the best four years of your life, but it can be if you make it.”
