Kathryn Lomax is the daughter of Jennifer and Lantz Lomax. She was involved in Madrigal, CTC, cheer, archery and track. Teachers she would like to thank are Mrs. Bagley and Mrs. Schockmann. “Mrs. Bagley was the first teacher I didn’t feel like I needed to tone myself down for. She let me be myself and was just as weird with me. She gave me a safe place and I’ll keep her in my heart forever. Mrs. Schockmann pushed me to do so many things I didn’t think I could do and she helped me improve in crazy ways I wouldn’t have been able to do without her. I needed her hardcore attitude. I appreciate them both so much.” Her biggest achievement is making state at choir districts all four years. Her favorite memory is when Madrigal went to Nashville. Her advice to a younger student is, “Do what makes YOU happy because, no matter how you go about it, somebody’s always gonna have something to say so you might as well just do it for you.”
