Draven Groves is the son of Hope and Michael Groves He was involved in CTC and was employed at Sonic Drive-in. He plans to stay in Warsaw, furthering his education at State Fair Community College for two years with plans to transfer to the University of Central Missouri. After pursuing his education, Draven plans to start a career in construction. Groves had several teachers who made a difference in his life. “Mr. Richardson for being someone I could talk to, Ms. Swisher – my course advisor – for helping me prepare for my future, and I would like to thank my third grade teacher Ms. Weatherby for supporting me when times were rough at home in 3rd grade,” Groves said. When he attends a 10-year reunion, he plans to have accomplished a successful career in the construction field and to work his way up the chain of command of a construction company. A few things Groves looks forward to in the next year would be to attend college, acquiring his license and earning a steady income. His biggest achievement of high school is keeping straight A’s through his senior year and finding loyal friends. His best memory from high school is being with his friends and creating lots of memories to share one day. His advice to a younger student is, “don’t get caught up in drama and don’t attract any either.” If he could go back to freshman year one thing he would change is how he treated earlier classes so he could acquire a higher GPA.
