Freshman Johrdan Decker is a part of the football team. This is Decker’s seventh year playing football and his positions include running back and strong safety. Last year Decker was a part of the middle school team where they went 6-0 which is one of his biggest achievements in this sport. He has found differences from middle school to high school.
”Playing in high school vs middle school is a lot different, it’s harder especially when you play varsity.” Decker said.
Decker likes playing on the high school team because it brings everybody together more and makes them feel like a family. As the season goes on Decker tries to be the best he can be and help varsity prepare for the week. And last but not least his favorite memory from this year is being able to be a part of a great team as well as beating Higginsville.
