Senior Drake Murrell

Senior Drake Murrell plays linebacker and running back on the football team. He has been playing football for ten years. He loves how him and his teammates have played together for a while

“We have played together for over 5 years and we all love to play the game together,” he said.

His biggest achievement is leading the defense and he also got all state honors as a linebacker. His favorite memory winning the game against Higginsville. He is looking to improve on communication as a team and being able to keep their mindsets right.

Senior Heather Terry is in her fourth year on the news staff. This year is her second year being an editor and was promoted to the profile editor. She is also involved in FBLA, FCCLA, student council and pep club. This year, she plans to write and edit more profiles about the student body. Her goal is to make sure every school event is covered and to make sure the photos have everyone in the school. She plans to attend college for either journalism or athletic training. She also plans to join the military.

Junior Hailey Ferguson is taking on her second year of being an editor, and third year of being a part of the Journalism family. This year she is the Photo Managing Editor. Ferguson is involved in volleyball, softball, basketball, and pep club. Outside of school she works at the Last Resort Campground, The Fix, and Country Charm. One of her greatest passions is to pursue a degree in elementary education. As of right now, she is hoping to go to Northwest. After college, she plans to keep working to be able to provide for her family. Her immediate family include her parents, Mike and Andrea and her siblings, Garrett, Kylee, and Avery. Ferguson is a very determined and hardworking person and ready to take on this next year on staff.
