Senior Spotlight ’24: Skylon Boone

Skylon Boone

Skylon Boone is the daughter of Kristy Allcorn and Jesse Jackman. She was involved in wrestling, track, and student council. She plans to become a nurse and to coach her own youth wrestling team.  Her favorite memory is making it to state for wrestling, She never forget the look on her coach’s face as she pinned her last match to become a district champ. She  will miss going to sports practices and hanging out with her teammates. Her advice to a younger student is, “to be a champ you have to believe in yourself when no one else will.”

Heather Terry, Profiles Managing Editor
Senior Heather Terry is in her fourth year on the news staff. This year is her second year being an editor and was promoted to the profile editor. She is also involved in FBLA, FCCLA, student council and pep club. This year, she plans to write and edit more profiles about the student body. Her goal is to make sure every school event is covered and to make sure the photos have everyone in the school. She plans to attend college for either journalism or athletic training. She also plans to join the military.
