Athlete Spotlight: Sophomore Jayce Estes

Sophomore Jayce Estes

Sophomore Jayce Estes wrestles in the 113 weight class. He has wrestled for thirteen years. His dad and brother inspired him to wrestle and he has also watched it since he was born. His biggest achievement is being ranked top three in the state at one point.  Estes’ favorite memory is beating the number two seed in the state in the last tournament of the year.  He hopes to make it to the finals and win state as a sophomore in high school because that’s been his goal since he was little. Estes is looking to improve being a smooth and technical wrestler and not lose more than five matches this year.

Heather Terry, Profiles Managing Editor
Senior Heather Terry is in her fourth year on the news staff. This year is her second year being an editor and was promoted to the profile editor. She is also involved in FBLA, FCCLA, student council and pep club. This year, she plans to write and edit more profiles about the student body. Her goal is to make sure every school event is covered and to make sure the photos have everyone in the school. She plans to attend college for either journalism or athletic training. She also plans to join the military.

Brylee Brewster is a junior and this is her second year on the yearbook staff. She enjoys writing about what’s going on in her school. Brewster is involved in softball, student council, and pep club. She likes to write about sports and what she’s passionate about. After high school Brylee plans on attending a university to play college softball.
