Update: Warsaw FFA recognized at State Convention
Warsaw FFA had a very successful state convention.
Ashlyn Yoder received the equine science placement proficiency award, Rayne Faulconer received the Missouri State FFA Degree (the highest honor the state can bestow on a member).
The FFA Chapter received the National Superior Chapter Award, The horse team competed with and earned a rank of 22nd out of the top 48 teams in the state. They had a score of 1049 out of 1350 and the top team had a score of 1213 just to give you an idea of what the scores looked like. There was only 164 points between 1st and 22nd.
Ashlyn Yoder competed in the Job Interview contest, unfortunately she did not make it to the final round. However, she has honed her interview skills.
Lerran Yoder served as a delegate along with Rayne Faulconer and they attended the business session where they were able to help decide issues that would affect the State FFA Association as well as the national organization. The members who attended were also able to visit with approximately 75 colleges and businesses who recruit agriculture students. There was a record 8,000+ members in attendance at this years convention.
