Madison Lawrence is the daughter of Shelby Wells and Michael Lawrence. Throughout high school she was involved in Speech Team, FCCLA, FBLA, NHS, and Emerald Stars Dance Team. She plans to attend Missouri State University in Springfield. A teacher she’d like to thank is Mrs. Pate for “Pushing us to compete in FCCLA STAR events for the first time in years and for always being so kind and helpful.” Her best memory in high school was always being surrounded by her best friends and going to girls’ state and meeting a bunch of amazing new people. To celebrate the end of this era in her life she will go on small summer trips with friends and family. What she will miss the most is seeing her friends and teachers everyday. What she looks forward to the most next year is being more independent, making new friends, and seeing how she changes as a person as she gets older. Her advice to a younger student would be “Celebrate all of your successes and work hard but don’t overload yourself.”
