Meet the Courtwarming candidates: Natalie Banfield and Wesley Jackson

Juniors Natalie Banfield and Wesley Jackson

Junior candidates Wesley Jackson and Natalie Banfield are running for 2025 Courtwarming Prince and Princess. Banfield is involved in Track, prom committee, and FCA. When Banfield was asked how she was going to get people to vote for her she said, “My strategy for getting people to vote for me is simply passing out cookies.” Banfield’s piece of advice for people younger than her is to not make stupid deccions and to love and follow god! 

 

    Jackson is involved in FCA, prom committee, student council, Math club, and Track. He also plans on passing out cookies with Natalie to help get people to vote for him. When Jackson was asked what piece of advice he could give to people younger he stated, “To just be a nice and happy person.”

Freshman Alyssa Boyd  is a new staff member on the 2024-2025 Newspaper staff. She is involved in cheer, track, student council, Pep Club, and 4-H. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with family, friends, and cheering. Outside of school, she enjoys babysitting and baking. After high school, she hopes to attend MU and become a nurse practitioner. After college she plans to be a travel nurse while getting her doctorate degree then plans to work at Children’s Mercy in Columbia to help the young in need. Her parents are Crystal and Daryl Boyd. She also has four younger brothers and one older and one younger sister as well as an older sister. Boyd is very excited to start her first year on the WHS News staff!

Tatum Bohl is a Senior at Warsaw High School. This is Bohl’s second year in advanced journalism and she is the Media and Business editor. She joined the class to capture pictures of people’s best moments and give her peers the opportunity to look back on their favorite memories. In addition to being involved in yearbook, Bohl is involved in FBLA, FCCLA, dance team, cheerleading, pep club, and STUCO. Outside of school she participates in pageants and modeling. After high school she plans on attending college for social media marketing.
