Senior Drake Murrell wrestles in the 165 weight class. From last season to this season there has been change.
“This year is my last, as a team we have grown in both numbers and in skill,” Murrell said.
He has been wrestling for five years. He started wrestling for a winter sport.
“I needed something to do in the winter and I didn’t like basketball anymore” Murrell said.

His biggest achievement is placing fourth at state last year. His favorite memory is staying in the hotel for state. He hopes that as a team to receive a state trophy and for himself to win state and develop into a true leader of the team. He is looking to really improve his mentality in the sport and perfect the moves he uses.
