Junior Hayley Case is the drum major for the Warsaw Wildcat marching band. Case loves how they all feel like a family and how they pick on each other, but the team all fits in like a family so it just makes things a lot easier to get along. She’s had an interest in joining a band ever since both her brothers were in high school. She decided to try it out in 6th grade and just fell in love.
She would say she definitely brings the ideas. She is looking to improve her leadership qualities. It’s the first year of her being drum major so it takes time. Her biggest achievement is probably becoming a drum major. Everyone who tried out was really good and she truthfully didn’t think she had a chance.
Case’s favorite memory probably has to be just the bus rides to and from competitions. Her favorite part of the field show this year was movement 2. Her favorite pep band tune is “Great Balls of Fire.”
“Ever since we played it in Memphis, it has stuck with the band and it’s my first year playing it again,” Case said.
