Cathrine Wyse is the new special education math teacher in the high school. It’s her first year of teaching. Her hobbies are making shirts, cups, going out on the lake and paddle boarding. She also enjoys watching the students grow and learn new things.
“It is great when a student gets something and they get excited about it,” she said.
She went to school at Orrick High School and went to college at Missouri Western State University. She has a six month old son named Augustus and his nickname is Auggie.
“He is the most energetic little boy and he smiles and is happy about everything!” she said.
She wanted to teach because she saw a family member struggle in academics and she wanted to be the one to help him succeed and she wanted to be able to do that for others as well.
