Senior Emma Binnie is in the percussion and pit and has been active in band all four years of high school. Her favorite part about the “Pirates of the Caribbean” marching show is the music. “Definitely the music it’s so fun to play and practice times with the music are always fun with the band,” she said.

Her favorite pep tune is “Mess Call” because it’s fun to play and chant part of it. She loves how well they all can work together, whether it be about music or the show or just anything.

She joined band because she love the idea of making music with different instruments and people. The strengths she brings are accents and small details to the songs. Her favorite memory is anytime they go to a competition and have a long bus ride. Those are always the most fun times for the band. She is trying to improve on making little to no mistakes for the shows and competitions.  Her biggest achievement is making section leader her junior year.
